This 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle is amazing in Cranberry Red and correct black SS stripes. The fit and finish is excellent. The body is arrow straight down both sides, no signs of rust or damage. The gaps line up square and flush. Up front: the grill, SS emblem, bumper, turn signal lenses and headlight bezels look good. Down the sides: the door handles, window trim and SS emblems look good as well. In the back: the bumper, tail light lenses and SS emblems are nice. It sits on a set of original 15x7 5-spoke Rocket wheels with Cooper Cobra radial tires.
The engine compartment is nice and tidy with its 454 ci motor, aftermarket aluminum valve covers, open element K&N air cleaner, Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold with an Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor, Hedman elite headers and new dual master cylinder. It features power steering, 4-core radiator, HEI High Energy ignition, alarm system and Vintage A/C that blows cold. All of the metal surfaces are nicely painted.
The interior looks practically new from the carpet to the headliner. The dash is in great shape along with the dash pad. This Chevelle has the SS instrument panel ( factory tach, speedometer, gas gauge and clock that works), retro AM/FM radio with Bluetooth, and Billet steering wheel. The heater and A/C controls slide with ease. The front bucket seats and the rear seat have been re-upholstered and new cushions added. The door panels and kick panels are nice. It has a factory console with a horseshoe shifter nestled between the bucket seats. It also comes complete with front and rear seatbelts.
The undercarriage is all clean metal. The bottom of the motor is clean as well as the transmission. The front end looks to have been rebuilt including the shocks. This Chevelle has disc brakes up front and drum brakes in the rear, 12-bolt 3:31 posi-traction rear end, rear sway bar and boxed in lower rear control arms. It also has a newer gas tank and straps. All E-brake assembly is hooked up and working.
The trunk has pristine metal. The trunk has been all carpeted but can be easily removed if desired. It has a spare tire, jack and new weather stripping.
