This Road Runner shows really well in its factory color, B5 Blue. Looking down both sides, it is straight. The body appears to be all original metal. It features the optional N96 Air Grabber hood with black accent stripes. Up front the grill looks to be original. The front and rear bumpers have been rechromed. It has newer mirrors and brightwork. The weather stripping and window seals look newer.
The black interior looks really good! Right in front of the bench seat is a pistol grip 4-speed Hurst shifter coming up from the floor. Looking forward at the dash it has its factory steering wheel along with the optional tach & gauges and an AM/FM stereo. The dash is in great shape. Overhead, the headliner is in good shape. There are front and rear seatbelts as well.
The engine compartment looks good with its number matching 383 ci motor. It features stock exhaust manifolds, stock valve covers and the “Beep Beep” horn. Everything is very nice and tidy which is a must for any enthusiast.
The trunk is all clean metal and nicely detailed with a trunk mat, spare tire, jack and newer weather stripping. The trunk is painted the same as the exterior, B5 Blue.
The undercarriage is very impressive!! It is all clean metal and painted B5 Blue. The floor, rockers, frame rails and rear quarters all look great. It still retains the factory drain plugs! Up front everything appears to have been replaced. The front brakes have been upgraded to disc brakes. Looking up at the bottom of the motor, it is clean as well as the 4-speed transmission. It sports a 3:23 Sure Grip rear end, newer gas tank & straps, new brake and fuel lines. The dual exhaust runs out the back and has the correct tips. The E-brake is complete and working.
This combination of color, options, clean metal and the fact that it is number matching make this one very sharp Road Runner!!!
