This 1969 Chevelle Yenko tribute looks awesome in Electric Blue Metallic with bright white Yenko accents. It has excellent alignment and the gaps are correct. It is straight down both sides. The Yenko stripes are done properly. All of the exterior trim and chrome has either been polished, rechromed or replaced with new. It has new weather stripping and seals. It sits on a set of 15X8 Torq Thrust wheels with new center caps wrapped with a set of BFGoodrich T/A radials for that old school appearance!
The engine compartment is nicely detailed with its completely rebuilt 496 Stroker V8 engine, featuring aluminum square-port heads, hydraulic roller cam, lifters, pushrods and rockers, Scat-beam connecting rods and SRP forged pistons, aluminum Weiand stealth intake manifold with dual feed Holley carburetor and Yenko branded polished aluminum finned valve covers. It also features power steering, ceramic coated Hooker headers, HEI ignition for reliability, chrome plated Delco Moraine power brake booster with chrome dual master cylinder, 4 core radiator with correct fan shroud. It has the correct hood insulation. The engine bay is finished in gloss black.
The interior is like new. The black bucket seat upholstery and cushions have been replaced. The carpet, door panels, sill plates and kick panels are all like new. Looking at the dash: The lenses are clear and the knobs are like new. It has a 3-spoke wood steering wheel, tilt steering column and an AM/FM stereo. All of the heater controls slide with ease. There is a factory console in between the bucket seats with Hurst 4-speed shifter and chrome knob coming out of it.
The underside is completely rebuilt from front to back, it is nicely detailed and looks like all clean metal. The front end was completely rebuilt including the ball joints, bushings, springs, shocks and steering components. It has disc brakes up front Looking up at the motor it is clean as well as the Muncie 4 speed manual transmission. The floor looks to be original and all clean metal. There are all new fuel and brake lines. It has a newer 3” dual exhaust system with MagnaFlow mufflers and correct cowbell bell exhaust tips exiting out the back. Power is sent to the 3:42 12-bolt Posi rear end with Moser 33 spline axles. All the E-brake assembly is hooked up and working.
The trunk looks to be all original clean metal and is finished with black carpet for a nice clean look. It also has new weather stripping.
This is an exceptionally well put together Yenko tribute. It has a great color and a lot of get up and go!!!!
