X-55, #’S MATCHING THROUGHOUT!
This 1969 Camaro SS X-55 has had a rotisserie restoration. It looks awesome in its factory color, LeMans Blue, code 71. It has excellent alignment and the gaps are correct. It is straight down both sides. The hockey stick stripes are done properly. All of the exterior trim and chrome has either been polished, rechromed or replaced with new. The black convertible top is new. It has new weather stripping and seals. It sits on a set of SS wheels with new trim rings and center caps wrapped with a set of new Firestone Wide Oval tires for that stock appearance! The engine compartment is nicely detailed with its completely rebuilt, number matching 350 ci engine. It has the correct valve covers, air cleaner, carburetor with correct fuel line and filter. It also features GM hoses with the correct tower clamps, new cadmium plated Delco Moraine power brake booster with dual master cylinder, Delco battery topper and correct hood insulation. The engine bay is finished in a satin black.
The interior is like new. The seat upholstery and cushions have been replaced. The carpet, door panels, sill plates and kick panels are all like new. Looking at the dash: the dash pad is nice, the lenses are clear and the knobs are like new. It has a 3-spoke Sure Grip steering wheel and a factory AM radio. All of the heater controls slide with ease. There is a factory console with its correct Muncie shifter and chrome knob.
The body was on a rotisserie. The underside is completely rebuilt from front to back, it is nicely detailed and looks like new. The front end was completely rebuilt including the ball joints, bushings, springs, shocks and steering components. Looking up at the motor and transmission, they are both spotless. The floor looks to be original and all clean metal. There are all new fuel and brake lines. It has a newer 2.5” FlowMaster dual exhaust system. It has a 12-bolt rear with 3:55 gear rear end. All the E-brake assembly is hooked up and working.
The trunk looks to be all original clean metal and is finished with a light coat of splatter paint. It also has new weather stripping.
This is an exceptional Camaro being that it is a rare X-55 convertible. It is also one of the most sought after colors, LeMans Blue! This car is truly a great investment!
