This Camaro is rare and very sharp looking in its Tuxedo Black smooth glossy finish. It has excellent fit and finish too. Looking down both sides, it is arrow straight, no rust or damage. The hockey stick stripes were applied correctly. Every piece of exterior chrome and trim has been replaced. It has all new weather stripping and seals. The black convertible top is in good shape and it's a power top too! It rides on 14x7 Chevy Rally wheels with a new set of 215/70/14 BFG T/A radial tires.
The interior is original except the carpet and seat foam. The dash is in good shape and has the optional tach and fuel gauge in the dash cluster. The dash pad is in good shape, no cracks. It has a Sure Grip steering wheel and the correct 4-speed Hurst shifter.
The engine compartment has a date-correct, totally rebuilt 396 ci rated at 325hp. It is nicely detailed with factory correct chrome valve covers, correct air cleaner, correct 4-core radiator with correct fan shroud and fan. It also has GM heater hoses with factory style tower clamps, stock distributor with Pertronix HEI ignition and power steering. Everything is nicely done and correct!
The undercarriage is all clean metal, no signs of rust or patches. The front suspension is completely new with upgrades: QA1 coil overs and tubular control arms. It has power front disk brakes and Borg Warner Super T-10 4-speed manual transmission. The 12-bolt 3:55 posi rear end is original to the car. There are multi-leaf springs. It also has a 2.5” dual exhaust system that runs all the way out the back. The E-brake assembly is complete and working.
The trunk is all clean metal. It still retains its original space saver spare tire, original jack assembly and trunk mat. There is new trunk weather stripping.
