This beautiful restored California car wears its factory color, code R Regimental Red with a gorgeous black vinyl top. The paint is very smooth and glossy. When looking down both sides, it is laser straight with excellent fitment. The front bumper, grills, door handles and emblems are all like new. This Firebird features a remote mirror. The rear bumper, tail light lenses and emblems are like new too. It has all new window and door weather stripping and seals. It sits on a set of 15x7 Rally II wheels in the front and 15x8 in the rear with new trim rings, center caps and correct style lug nuts surrounded by BFG T/A radial tires.
The engine compartment is nicely detailed and correct with its number matching motor that has been completely rebuilt. It has cold blowing factory A/C!! Some upgraded features include; a 4-core aluminum radiator with correct fan shroud and clutch fan, factory chrome valve covers and power steering. It still retains its original air cleaner. There are also new upper control bushings. Everything in the engine compartment is nice and tidy.
The Deluxe interior is in great shape from the carpet to the headliner. The Deluxe interior includes molded door panels and upgraded upholstery. Other features include; remote mirror, power windows, console, clock, AM/FM radio and gauge cluster. Looking at the dash-the gauges are clear and the dash pad is nice (no cracks), the A/C and heater controls slide with ease. This Firebird sports its restored factory steering wheel.
The undercarriage is all clean and original metal. It has a Turbo 400 transmission, front disc brakes, new front suspension and bushings, new brake lines, new fuel lines, new fuel tank and straps. It sports a 10 bolt 3:23 Safe-T-Track rear end and has a factory traction bar. The bottom of the motor and transmission are clean. The E-brake assembly is complete and working. There is a factory style dual exhaust system with transverse muffler.
The trunk is all clean and original metal. It is nicely finished in a light coat of Black Aqua splatter paint, a spare tire, jack assembly and lug wrench.
