1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396


  This 1967 Chevelle is an exceptionally clean car. It wears its factory color, code F  Marina Blue on a straight, clean rust free body. The paint is polished to a very high gloss finish. The black vinyl top is in excellent condition. The fit and finish is excellent. Up front the headlight bezels and trim are nice along with the front grill. The emblems are in good shape. The front bumper is nice and shiny and the window trim is in good condition. The wing windows are in good condition. The hood louvers, mirrors, door handles and vinyl top moldings look newl. The rear bumper is in great condition as well as the Super Sport emblems. It sits on a set of 14” Chevy Rally wheels with correct Chevy flat caps and trim rings wrapped with a set of new radial BFG redline tires.

  The engine bay is tastefully done, with a date coded 1967 396ci/325 hp engine with casting number 3855961, correct Harrison 4-core radiator that still has its factory finger guard on it, factory shroud and clutch fan, dual feed Holley carb with correct fuel line. It still retains its factory exhaust manifolds. Other options include power brakes, new cadmium plated brake booster with new dual master cylinder, factory chrome valve covers and air cleaner. The engine bay has a nice satin black finish. 

    The interior is in exceptional condition from carpet to headliner. The dash has been restored. It has factory bucket seats with a 4-speed console in between them. All the gauges work. The dash still has its original AM radio. The heater controls slide with ease. It has its original steering wheel with a SS horn button. The dash knobs are like new, armrests and bases are like new, door panels are nice and the dash pad has no cracks. The kick panels are good and it has front seatbelts. 

   The undercarriage is exceptionally clean and appears to be all original and rust free. The bottom of the engine is clean as well as the Muncie 4-speed transmission. All the suspension and front end parts look good. Dual FlowMaster exhaust runs all the way to the back and dumps out behind the wheel. The whole undercarriage is painted in a satin black finish. It has a 12 bolt posi rear end with 3:73 gear, new shocks and the gas tank and straps appear to be new. The E-brake cables are all hooked up and working. 

    The trunk is very impressive. All original metal, the quarter panels have never been cut off! The trunk jambs have factory seams. It has nice paint on the bottom of the trunk lid. There is a spare tire and jacking instructions decal.
