1966 Pontiac GTO

This 1966 pontiac GTO presents itself well. The body is straight from every angle and the fit and finish is excellent. The front bumper has been rechromed, grills and headlight bezels are like new. The rear bumper looks to have been re-chromed also. All emblems look new along with the taillight lenses and trim. Glass has factory tint all weather stripping and fuzzies have been replaced. The door jambs are painted and have a glossy finish. It has a set of Crager wheels with a set of BFG T/A radial tires.

The parchment interior really pops against the Montero Red exterior! What makes it even better is the 4-speed shifter between the bucket sets. The front bucket seats have new cushions and upholstery. It also has new door panels, armrest bases, door handles, window cranks, carpet, sill plates and a tight headliner. The dash has nice clear lenses, a new dash pad, a factory AM radio that works and nice looking knobs. There is an aftermarket steering wheel and aftermarket gauges that are mounted under the dash. The heater controls slide back and forth with ease. There are also aftermarket GTO floor mats to protect that new carpet.

The engine compartment is detailed. It is painted in a satin black finish. The 455 cubic inch engine is dressed with a set of chrome valve covers, air cleaner and alternator. It has been upgraded with a dual master cylinder and an HEI ignition for reliability. Some other features include: power steering, aluminum radiator with factory shroud, Ram Air exhaust manifolds, new upper control bushings and under hood insulation.

The undercarriage is all clean metal. It is painted in a satin black finish. The front end components look to be completely rebuilt. It has new shocks and upgraded  front power disc brakes.  The frame is clean and painted. It has a newer dual exhaust with Thrush mufflers and the correct stainless steel trumpet exhaust tips that exit out the rear of the car. There is a newer gas tank and sending unit. It has an upgraded 3:73 12-bolt rear end with boxed in control arms. The E-brake cables are hooked up and working.

The trunk is detailed and painted with splatter paint. It has a trunk mat, spare tire, jack assembly, new weather stripping and the jacking instruction decal.

This is one fine example of a muscle car!   Good Looks and lots of power!
